A portion of the rear of the house was demolished and new kitchen, living, dining room constructed with large glass doors onto a newly landscaped terrace. The design allowed for a few exciting details, with exposed structural folk and pin connections and steel tendons support the vaulted ceiling. The entire outside of the house obtained a facelift with light painted render over existing facing brick, new oak porch and new aluminium doors and windows.
